Warranty & Return Policy
Repair Depot provides a clear and convenient warranty policy for all parts, tools, equipment, and other products purchased online through our website.
All warranty claims can be submitted via My Account > RMA. The RMA process is usually completed within 3-5 business days after we receive the returned item.
Only products purchased directly from Repair Depot are eligible for warranty. Items purchased elsewhere are not covered.
1. Replacement Parts
All replacement parts are covered by a 1-year warranty.
This warranty covers defects under normal use. If a part develops a quality issue, you may submit an RMA claim.
Not covered:
- Accidental damage (drops, impacts, improper installation)
- Misuse (using the product for purposes other than intended)
- Physical or internal damage (screen cracks, flex cable breaks, liquid damage)
- Normal wear and tear
2. Batteries
All batteries are covered by a 1-year warranty.
Warranty applies to defects or performance issues under normal use, as long as there is no physical damage.
3. Tools & Consumables
All tools and consumables have a 30-day warranty, unless otherwise specified.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects identified within 30 days of purchase.
Not covered:
- Physical damage
- Excessive wear or damage caused by misuse
4. Refurbished Devices
All refurbished devices come with a 30-day functional warranty, covering operational issues.
Not covered:
- Cosmetic or internal damage (cracks, bends, broken components)
- Evidence of misuse
Devices must be returned free of personal data, passcodes, and iCloud/Google locks. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected.
5. Additional Terms
- If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact Customer Service immediately.
- Warranty applies only to Repair Depot products. Products without our branding are considered non-Repair Depot items and are not eligible.
- Returns or claims outside the warranty period will not be accepted.
- Customers with purchases exceeding $1,000 in the past 30 days may receive one free ground shipping return label per month.
- Products purchased in error or no longer needed can be returned within 30 days, in original, undamaged packaging.
6. Refunds / Store Credit
All approved warranty returns will be issued as store credit.
The credited amount will be the lower of:
- Original purchase price, or
- Current selling price
